About the Writer/Director

Charlotte Glynn was born in New York and spent her formative years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her first feature film, Rachel is, a documentary about her sister who is developmentally disabled. The film is distributed by Seventh Art Releasing and has screened at festivals internationally, including the True/False Film Festival. It won best documentary at the Thin Line Documentary Film Festival and the Athens International Film Festival. Charlotte was named one of the “10 Filmmakers to Watch” in 2010 by The Independent. She received her MFA from Columbia University in 2013 and is currently developing a feature, submitting two recently completed short films to festivals and teaching film directing at her alma mater, SUNY Purchase.

About the Producers

Luke Spears is an independent producer and filmmaker originally from New York City. A graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film program, he previously worked at a variety of independent film companies, including Tribeca Productions, The Film Sales Company, and Emerging Pictures. Spears received his B.A. in Philosophy from Wesleyan University.

Berkley Brady began her filmmaking career working in documentary production in 2006, when she was selected to participate in an initiative by TeleFilm Canada to develop new producing talent. Turning her attention to narrative storytelling, she enrolled as a writer/director in Columbia’s MFA Film program in 2009. As a 2013 Sloan Production Award winner, she is currently in pre-production for her thesis short.

About the Co-Producer

Alvaro R. Valente is an Italian/Belgian producer based in New York City. His producing credits include the feature films The Fortune Theory (2013) and Deniz Seviyesi (2014), as well as dozens of short films produced in the United States, Europe and South America. Alvaro’s award-winning producing work has been showcased and awarded in festivals worldwide, including Sundance, SXSW, Telluride, Sao Paulo, and Montreal.
