About the Writer/Director

CHRISTOPH RAINER is a bearded, two-meter Austrian who graduated with a BFA from the Filmacademy in Vienna, where he was taught and tortured by Michael Haneke. With a Fulbright Scholarship, he was able to flee the country and come to Columbia University, where he enrolled in the MFA Film program. His short films have been invited to over 250 international film festivals and have won numerous awards such as the “TIFF Emerging Filmmaker Award” at the Toronto Film Festival.
