About the Writer/Director

He will soon be premiering his first feature documentary, Farewell Ferris Wheel, which won the TAA Creative Promise Award from the Tribeca Film Institute. The film was selected for the 2014 Film Independent Documentary Lab, and will air nationally on PBS. Jamie is now in development on a narrative feature film based on a murder in the country music world. He lives in New York City and loves Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash, old TV commercials, and being left-handed.

About the Producer

SARAH DORMAN (Producer) enrolled in Columbia University’s M.F.A. Film Program to concentrate on producing and writing, and comes with a strong background in feature post-production. While at Columbia, she produced several short films, as well as the 2014 CUFF Trailer. Her thesis film, Stay Awake premiered at the 2015 Berlin International Film Festival and won the “Jury Award” for Best Narrative Short at the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival. Based in Los Angeles, she is developing features with her Columbia collaborators and believes well-told stories can make a difference in the world in ways both large and small. She loves R.E.M., Friday Night Lights, seltzer, and the fact that as a kid she told people she was ambidextrous because she couldn’t accept being a righty.
