About the Writer/Director
Anna Gutto was hailed as “universally excellent” in The New York Times. And now, after her fifth short film, Mommy Heist, features are next. She’s signed on to direct the film adaptation of Kelly Turner’s New York Times Bestseller Radical Remission and is in development with two other projects: the indie feature Leila M. and a Norwegian/German WWII book- to- film adaptation. Anna also directs commercials and music videos.
About the Writer
From working on construction sites in downtown New York City, to working as a community organizer for progressive politics in the Bronx and upstate New York, Jesse Soursourian eventually found his way to lm. He graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in Screenwriting, and co-wrote the short lm, Hugh the Hunter, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015 and screened at festivals in London and New York.
About the Producer
Marion Cecinas is a French producer who began her lm career in Paris working on Academy Award finalist Dripped, directed by Leo Verrier in 2013. She has produced and co-produced many high-quality short films directed by upcoming filmmakers before graduating with an MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts in New York. Marion is currently working in Development at Studiocanal TV in Los Angeles.
