About the Writer/Director

While at Columbia, Rakesh Baruah has interned as a writing assistant at The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. He is trained in improv, sketch comedy, storytelling, and solo performance from the Magnet Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. He graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in History and Gender Studies. He was born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin. He graduates from Columbia University with an MFA in Film Directing.

About the Producer

Susanna LoCascio has produced or crewed on over a dozen short and feature films. Susanna also writes about film and has covered festivals including SXSW, Toronto, and Tribeca as press. She is a recipient of the 2015 IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film. Susanna graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a BA in Government and worked in the non-pro t sector before discovering her passion for film.
