About the Writer/Director
Sudarshan Suresh is a lawyer turned filmmaker from Kolkata, India. As a writer and a director, his films have screened at numerous international film festivals, including Palm Springs, Aspen, Miami, Nantucket and more, and have gone on to win jury honors and awards at various South Asian diasporic festivals. He is currently developing a feature screenplay that deals with issues of sexual identity in the face of rising nationalism and communal tension in India.
About the Producer
Trained as an architect and then earning an MBA from Chicago Booth, Steven Chua began his film career at Fox Searchlight Pictures where he helped acquire and release over twenty films. In 2006, Chua joined Microsoft and the group who launched XBOX LIVE. Moving to NYC, Chua then led Verizon’s negotiations for RedBox Instant on OTT rights and, later, content acquisitions and development for go90, while earning an MFA at Columbia.
