About the Writer/Director
Daniel Slottje was ill as an adolescent, which originally inspired him to use storytelling as a personal outlet, and create the short, The Rotting of Casey Culpepper. His personal horror screenplay, The Odd Transformation of Danny Smalls, was a 2021 Sundance Screenwriting Lab finalist. His screenplay, The Rotting of Casey Culpepper (feature version), was a 2021 finalist at Screamfest.
