About the Producer
Olivia Peralta is a producer, screenwriter, and director from Union City, New Jersey. Growing up just outside New York City, she’s considered herself lucky, having the best of both worlds. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University, double-majoring in film & economics. She worked as a creative producer for several years, creating branded content and commercials for brands such as J&J and Coca Cola. On the side, she also served as lead producer for several well-received short films, Like New and Remember. She decided to make her transition over to film full-time. She’s now graduated the Film MFA program at Columbia University as a Creative Producing concentrate. Her goal is to create projects that not only offers an escape, but motivates others and inspire change.
