About the Writer/Director

JUDAH-LEV DICKSTEIN, born in and perpetually inspired by Philadelphia, began his film career as a documentary editor, collaborating on films such as the art world heist Art of the Steal, the ESPN 30 for 30 film, Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks, and Barbara Kopple’s Dixie Chicks political musical, Shut Up & Sing. Studying directing at Columbia, Judah has found a love for “David and Goliath” stories and he is currently in production on a feature documentary about an unlikely and contentious City Council race in Philadelphia, set against the backdrop of sweeping gentrification.

About the Producer

CAROLINE MARIE-TAYLOR (Producer), hailing from the rural foothills of Northern California, has always been moved by the power of storytelling and is driven to produce compelling work. She received her Creative Producing M.F.A. from Columbia University in May of 2014. With a background in critical film studies, she also holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Political Science. Having worked in the past for James Schamus, Marvel Entertainment and most recently for Academy Award winning documentarian, Ellen Goosenberg at HBO, she continues to seek stories and collaborators that challenge our notions of traditional narratives. She is currently entrenched in the exciting and challenging world of commercial advertising.
