About the Writer/Director
MICHAEL MOLINA MINARD is a second-generation filmmaker and TV writer, working at HBO and Levinson/Fontana while completing his M.F.A. in Columbia’s Film program. Michael’s 2015 short film, Standing8, won the 2013 Sloan Production Grant. The feature script was a finalist for the 2015 Sloan/Sundance Screewriter’s Lab. He is a former Golden Gloves boxer who loves a good political fight and a slamming dish of ceviche.
About the Producers
OPHELIA HARUTYUNYAN (Producer) is a filmmaker based in New York and Armenia, originally from Yerevan, Armenia. She was on the team that developed and launched Armenia’s number one, online television channel, CivilNet. She received the Arthur Krim Memorial Award in 2014 for Excellence in Producing. Ophelia is currently in her third year in the Creative Producing Program at Columbia University’s M.F.A. Film Program and is working on her thesis film.
MICHEL STOLNICKI (Co-Producer) specializes in international co-productions, which includes the Rio Ink series for Discovery. Michel is a creative producer attending Columbia University’s M.F.A. Film program in New York City.
