About the Director
Edwin Ho is a New York-based director originally from Singapore. He moved to the States to pursue his MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University. Prior to that, he graduated with a BA in Communication majoring in advertising and film in Singapore. It Has to Do with Me is a collaboration with Chilean writer, Antonio Luco, an alumnus of the Film Program, based on his feature The Devil’s Dust. Together, they hope to continue their collaboration to make the feature.
About the Writer
Antonio Luco is a Fulbright scholar and an alumnus of the MFA Screenwriting program at Columbia University. Prior to that he studied film in the Catholic University of Chile, and has worked as a writer, director and editor. His feature documentary Beaverland (2014), was awarded with the Tribeca Film Institute Latin American Fund and premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2014. Beaverland won the Best Chilean Movie award in the 2014 Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia.
About the Producer
Mo Liang is originally from China. He majored in Electrical Engineering and then Architecture. After several years in the gaming industry, he reset his sights on bigger screens and a career in the motion picture industry. Mo Liang is currently obtaining his MFA degree in Creative Producing at Columbia University School of the Arts.
