About the Writer/Director

Federica Gianni is an Italian writer and director based in New York since 2009. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Directing/Screenwriting at Columbia University. Her latest work, The Friend from Tel Aviv, screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Outfest, NewFest, Frameline, St. Louis International Film Festival, and won the Directors Guild of America "Best Student Film Award" in the women’s category.

About the Producer

Axel Ohman was born in Stockholm and grew up in Paris. He holds a Master’s degree from Stockholm University and is a scholar of the Marcus Wallenberg Foundation for studies in film at Columbia University. He graduated from the MFA Film Program at Columbia University School of the Arts in 2016. He currently lives in New York.
