About the Writer/Director
Eric Schuman is a writer/director/cinematographer. After graduating with honors from Vassar College, he attended Columbia University’s MFA Film Program where he received the Emerging Filmmakers Grant for his thesis film Smother Me in Hugs. His previous shorts have shown internationally. Most recently, his film Proxy premiered at TIFF Kids International Film Festival. As a cinematographer, he was nominated for a Kodak Student Scholarship Award and just shot his first feature.
About the Producer
Annamarie Fernandez is a writer and producer in her 3rd year of Columbia University's MFA Creative Producing program. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a degree in Film and Media Arts before working for two years as an Associate Producer for a Dallas-based production company. At Columbia she’s written or produced 10 short films, and is interested in stories that express personal truths and insecurities through comedy.
