About the Writer/Director
Raj Trivedi was inspired to make this film by his own experience growing up in Texas as a first-generation immigrant. His previous short, From Jappan, a comedic take on a South Asian family, screened at the Austin Film Festival, among others. Since graduating in 2017, Raj has freelanced and is currently developing a feature project alongside his series.
About the Producer
Brittany Northcross is a Writer/Producer based in Los Angeles working in independent film development and sales. She discovered her love of storytelling as a History major in college before going to work in theater in New York. A fateful creative writing class with a Columbia Film alum would lead her to the Creative Producing program. She is committed to making underrepresented audiences visible on screen.
