About the Writer/Director
Nic Yulo is a writer/director based in New York City. Originally from the Philippines, she was awarded an Adobe Design Achievement Award for Film & Video, and is a former New York Women in Film & Television Scholarship Awardee. Her short script Changelings was a finalist at the BlueCat Screenplay Competition and her most recent film Horizon won a Breaking Barriers Award for Female Filmmakers.
About the Producer
Mahak Jiwani is a producer and writer based in NYC. In 2016, she produced a short, Premonición, in Chile, which screened at Huesca International Film Festival, Sao Paulo International Film Festival, and Aspen Film Festival. Previously, Mahak was an Art Director at Mullen Lowe Group and created online branded content for Nestle and Unilever products, which garnered over a million views and earned Pakistan Advertising Society Awards.
