About the Writer/Director

Jamil Munoz holds a BFA in Film from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, where he received the Carol M. Schmuckler Award for Achievement in Filmmaking. His most recent film, Kiko, was the winner of a grant from The Davey Foundation. He is currently a freelance editor and an MFA candidate in directing at Columbia University.

About the Producer

Minami Goto is a Japanese filmmaker currently pursuing her MFA degree at Columbia University. She has extensive experience working with international crews and has directed, written, and produced a number of short films in both United States and Japan. She was recently awarded the Jack Larson Award for Collaboration for developing the short film Kiko, and the Avex Digital Award for her upcoming short film Breakers.
