About the Writer/Director
Nick Singer is currently an MFA candidate in Columbia University’s graduate film program. Other Months, an official selection of the 2014 SXSW Film Festival and the 2014 BAMcinemaFest, among others, was his first feature. February, his thesis film at Wesleyan University, was selected as an in-competition short at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival. Now or Later, his fifth short film, was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s production grant.
About the Co-Writer
Ben Gottlieb is a Screenwriting MFA Candidate at Columbia’s Film Program. After graduating from Brown University with degrees in Art History and Literary Arts, he worked as an editor at The Washington Post and at WNYC. His writing has appeared on the Harper’s website and The Brooklyn Rail, and in the literary journals [sic], The Open Face Sandwich and Matrix Magazine, for which he received the 2013 LitPop Prize.
