About the Writer/Director

Bianca Catbagan is a New York-based writer-director who grew up in Manila, Philippines. She was an Asian Film Academy fellow at the Busan International Festival in 2012. Her film, Paraluman, screened at the Reykjavík International Film Festival where it was nominated for a Golden Egg. Most recently, her film, Supermodel, was awarded a grant by the Cinematografo International Film Festival and screened to a sold-out audience in San Francisco.
