About the Writer/Director
Alies Sluiter is a recipient of the prestigious General John Monash Scholarship and is a 2018 Screencraft Film Fund Competition semi-finalist. Also an Australian Academy Award nominated composer, Alies has performed worldwide with many artists, including Nitin Sawhney, Hugh Jackman and Akram Khan; and has musically directed Laurence Olivier Award- and Time Out Critics Award (UK)-nominated shows.
About the Producer
Meng Xiong is an NYC-based Chinese writer and producer. She has written and produced short films in China, Australia, and the U.S., and is currently developing her first feature. She holds a dual BA degree in Cinema Studies and Communication Studies from University of Iowa, and an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University.
