About the Writer/Director
Originally from Alabama, Connor Simpson is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Directing program.Recently, he won the Filmmaker to Watch award at the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival for his short, Kudzu, and received the Miloš Forman Directing Fellowship and the Emerging Filmmakers Production Grant. He is now based in Los Angeles, where he is developing his first feature. connorsimpson.com
About the Producer
Carver Diserens worked in film and television in New York from 2009–2017 on projects including The Colbert Report, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Person of Interest, and Escape at Dannemora. Originally from Westchester, NY, Carver graduated from Columbia University’s MFA program as a Creative Producer in 2017. He currently works for Thruline Entertainment, a management and production company in Beverly Hills, CA.
