About the Writer/Director/Producer

Elie Aufseesser is a Swiss filmmaker living in New York where he graduated from the Film Program at Columbia University School of the Arts. While working on his own feature documentary and fiction projects, as well as producing short films for others, he is currently an associate producer at Opendox Productions.

Joshua R. Troxler is a New York-based artist with roots in North Carolina. He graduated with honors in 2018 from Columbia University’s MFA Film Program where he received the Lewis Cole Memorial Award for excellence in Screenwriting. He’s currently the Director’s Assistant to Kirsten Johnson and teaches Directing and Film Production at Hunter College and at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in NYC.
