About the Writer/Director
Emil Benjamin is a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor. His feature documentary, Oyate, premiered in competition at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and is now running the festival circuit. He attended the Cine Qua Non Lab with his script, It Would Have Been Enough, and is currently serving as co-writer on an upcoming documentary from Oscar-nominated producer Diane Quon.
About the Producer
Mitchell Gomes is a filmmaker, producer, and writer from the Bay Area. He's produced shorts that have gone on to screen at festivals such as deadCenter, Palm Springs, and Rhode Island. Recently, he worked as a shorts incubator for Disney+'s Launchpad Program. Mitchell holds an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from Gonzaga University and an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University.
