About the Writer/Director
Major Dorfman is an MFA Directing candidate at Columbia University's School of the Arts. From a small mill town in Massachusetts, Major received his bachelor's in Visual Arts from Emerson College. Major's stories often feature situations loaded with moral ambiguity, and how the characters placed in those situations choose to act. His most recent film Fourth of July won a Special Mention for Best US Student Short at the 2021 Palm Springs ShortFest.
About the Producer
Justin A. Gonçalves is an Emmy-nominated narrative and documentary filmmaker based in New York City. His past films include Too Young to Go Steady (2018), Mila (2019), and So Good to See You (2022). His producing credits include Rips (Dir: Major Dorfman, 2022), Classmates (Dir: Major Dorfman, 2022), and The Buffaloligarchy (Dir: Harry Bartle, 2018) as well as dozens of short documentaries for CNN and CNN's Great Big Story.
