About the Writer/Director
Constanza Majluf is a director and award-winning screenwriter. She's worked over fifteen years in the film industry promoting internacional collaboration, with a special focus on female filmmakers. Her upcoming feature film Pink Desert has been awarded by the Chilean Ministry of Culture 2021 & 2022, honored by “Beca Carolina/ CDPAI 2022” (Spain) to, Sloan Screenplay Award 2020, and selected in Cine Qua Non Lab.
About the Writer
Lucía Aleñar Iglesias is a Spanish writer/director. Her short FORASTERA screened at Cannes Critic’s Week, Curtas Vila do Conde, Les Arcs, Gijón, Portland, Oberhausen, was nominated for a Gaudí Award, and is a Vimeo Staff Pick. Lucía is developing her first feature, which participated in the Semaine de la Critique’s Next Step and the Residency at Cinéfondation de Cannes.
About the Producer
Cecilia is a New York-based producer born in Cuba and raised in Chile. The first movie she produced, Piola, won the Best First Feature Prize at FICG 35 in México, and was acquired by Netflix in 2021. She’s part BAFTA’s Newcomers Program and Film Independent Producing Fellow. In 2021 Cecilia was awarded the Sloan Producing Fellowship for her project Upstreamers.
