About the Writer/Director

Robert Jones lives in the high-desert, mountain city of Santa Fe. He earned a BA in Film Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has worked in radio at KCSB, fine arts, commercials, theatre, and independent film. In 2018 Jones began his MFA in Film at Columbia University, with a concentration in Screenwriting. He is winner of the Artist Fellowship Award from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism and his film Play War won the Desert Sun Award at Palm Springs International ShortFest and Best of Trés Courts at Festival International des Trés Courts. Additionally, his film The Raft won a Festival Director's Award for Best Young Actor in a Short Film at the Woods Hole Film Festival.
