Two listless Perth best friends' short sighted plan to rob their weed dealer on the eve of starting a road trip across Australia goes awry when they accidentally kill the dealer.
William Turner is a Los Angeles based filmmaker from Perth, Western Australia. After being admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, William pivoted professionally into the world of film and television. William has subsequently written, directed, and produced short films in Australia, Denmark, England, and the US. He wrote and directed the award winning short film Tidevand (2017) while studying at the European Film College in rural Denmark. William is currently in post-production on a web-series he co-wrote and directed in Brooklyn, NY called Not Quite It. He is a recent graduate of Columbia University’s Filmmaking MFA and has just completed his thesis short for the program, Wednesday Night, Fremantle. His feature script, Flooded Mine, is a Faculty Select script at this year’s Columbia University Film Festival.
