About the Writer/Director
Vivienne Shaw is a Taiwanese-American filmmaker whose films, like her, tend to be Asian-American, queer, or funny. She is a Sloan Screenplay Award winner and SFFILM Sloan Science in Cinema Fellow for her thesis feature script Killing Jar. For her short film 29 Hour Famine, Vivienne was also awarded the 2023 Reel Sisters Microbudget Fellowship and Chinh Chu Finishing Prize.
About the Producer
Gorby studied film at USC and received an MFA in Producing from Columbia University. When his short “Love, Work & Other Demons was a hit at festivals, he directed “Killer Maid”, a feature for Tencent, which is being adapted for TV by Legendary. Gorby's latest feature teen-comedy script was a finalist at Atlanta, Rhode Island, and Nashville Film Festival.
