About the Writer/Director
Emma Hall-Martin is an Oregon-bred, New York-based writer/director who completed her MFA in Directing in 2023. Her 2022 short film, Congratulations, was well-received by film festivals including, BendFilm, Nitehawk Shorts, Bushwick Film Festival, and NoBudge.
Emma hopes to continue telling female-driven stories inspired by her adolescence that provoke reflection on how we view and treat the young female mind and body.
