About the Writer/Director

Ana Isabel Dow is a Mexican immigrant, mother, and writer-director based in NY. Her character-driven narratives question gender and sexuality norms with irreverence and feature bold, female Latinx protagonists. Ana’s short, Virgencita, received a grant for underrepresented filmmakers by 3Pas Studios; she graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate Film School, where she also taught undergraduate screenwriting.

About the Producer

Eda is a Turkish producer, graduated from Columbia Film MFA in 2023. Her first feature production, Breakwater, premiered in Atlanta. After the festival run, Breakwater is available on Mubi exclusively until the end of 2024. The second feature she produced, Öte, has met the audience at Tribeca'23. Eda is in the process of producing a show and another film.
