About the Writer/Director

Raina Yang is a Chinese writer-director based in New York and an MFA candidate at Columbia. Her films have screened at AAIFF and beyond, supported by Panavision, NYC Women’s Fund, and Sloan Foundation. A former fellow of Athena Writers Lab and Thousand Miles Project, she crafts stories at the edge of individual histories, human consciousness, and imagined futures.

About the Producer

Born in Hangzhou, China, Joyce Yueyi Xing is a creative producer based in New York and Hangzhou. She holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BS in Neuroscience from UCLA. Her short and feature works have screened at top festivals including Atlanta, Seattle and Hawai’i, and her fashion films have appeared on SHOWstudio, VOGUEfilm, and NOWNESS China.
