About the Writer/Director
Nora Marris is a NYC-based filmmaker from Buffalo. She makes discomfort comedies about people with bad personalities, working in a collaborative, actor-focused process that emphasizes improvisation in rehearsal and on set. Before obtaining her MFA in Film Directing from Columbia, she studied film directing at FAMU, the Prague Film & Television School, and music composition and film at American University.
About the Producer
Helēna Šania Volbeta is a Latvian filmmaker, based in NYC. Šania enjoys working on female driven dramas that often satirically comment on our eco-socio-political struggles. Before obtaining her MFA in Film Creative Producing from Columbia, Šania studied at the University of Warwick, earning a BSc Management Honors degree, and volunteered with different charities in Colombia, Brazil and South Africa.
