About the Writer/Director

Tang Wan Xin is a Singapore-New York-based filmmaker driven by a deep commitment to socially conscious narratives, constantly pushing the boundaries of form and perspective. She sees film as a tool to reveal hidden truths and challenge ideologies. She is currently developing her debut feature, inspired by her family’s hawker stall, which has been a part of Singapore’s culinary history since 1947.
