Xiaomeng Lu is from Beijing, China. His short film Deja Reve was selected for the main competition of the 16th FIRST International Film Festival. Feature project The Hidden Blade was awarded Industrial Jury Special Focus at FIRST Mart of the 17th FIRST Film Festival.

Shanming Guo holds MFA in Film from Columbia University. Short film "Arena" was selected by the 17th FIRST International Film Festival for Award of Pioneering.
