Chi: The Method of Breathing (氣)
Shuo, a Taiwanese American high school kid accidentally discovers a hidden martial arts underworld in Taipei City. As he secretly learns kung fu and the power of "Chi" from his classmate, his newfound powers also draw dangers from traditional grandmasters.

About the Writer/Director
Yi Liu is a Taiwanese American filmmaker. He graduated from the National Taiwan University majoring in directing, acting and lighting design. He recently graduated from Columbia University with an MFA in film directing. His previous works include King of the World, Happy Mask, and Ping Pong Coach, winner of the Student Visionary Awards at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
About the Producer
Meng Xiong is an NYC-based Chinese writer and producer. She has written and produced short films in China, Australia, and the U.S., and is currently developing her first feature. She holds a dual BA degree in Cinema Studies and Communication Studies from University of Iowa, and an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University.
