About the Writer/Director
Saim Sadiq is a Pakistani filmmaker. His short film, Pasban, screened at festivals worldwide and Nice Talking to You won Vimeo's Best Director and premiered at SXSW, 2019. A recipient of the Kodak Student Scholarship Gold Award, Sadiq is currently developing his first feature, Gulaab, which was selected for the Open Doors Hub at the 2018 Locarno Film Festival.
About the Producer
Originally from Pakistan, Mahak Jiwani is a producer and writer based in NYC. Premonición, produced in Chile, screened at 15+ international film festivals including Huesca International Film Festival, São Paulo International Film Festival, and Aspen International Film Festival. In 2018, Mahak was awarded the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Production Grant. She’s currently working at Alex Gibney’s award-winning Jigsaw Productions.
