In 1991, before the fall of the Soviet Union, a North Korean spy surveilles a South Korean exile in New York. As her mission unfolds, she is gradually transformed by studying the poems the exile was reading.

About the Director/Writer
Han Donggyun received a BA in Film from Hanyang University and earned his MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University. He is also a participant of Talents Tokyo 2018 and a 2013 alumni of the Film Leaders incubator. Besides his directorial works, he also works as the chief editor of the film magazine [anno.] and teaches filmmaking at Kongju National University.
About the Producer
Chengzhi Jin received her MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University, China. Her industry experience includes working for the world-renowned sales agency Magnolia Pictures International and for the Shanghai International Film Festival.
