About the Writer/Director

Sushant Chaudhary is an Indian filmmaker based in New York where he recently completed his MFA in Directing at Columbia University. His work has screened at festivals in Atlanta, Berlin, Lebu, Miami, Montreal, Munich, Stockholm, and elsewhere. He's currently working as an Assistant Editor on a PBS documentary series. Previously, he worked as a contractual editor in Mumbai and completed his Bachelors in Media Studies at Symbiosis International University. Sushant is a JN Tata Scholar.

About the Producer

Gianluca Morganti has directed and produced several short films with an emphasis on casting non-actors. The Cook played at ten festivals in six countries, winning three awards and appearing on Vimeo Staff Picks. He recently co-directed and produced his first feature-length documentary, Born on 9/11. Gianluca is a co-creator of TIFO, a soccer magazine named by Wall Street Journal as one of 50 best blogs in the world. He graduated with his MFA in film directing from Columbia University in October 2021.

About the Co-writer

Avichai Solomon Assouline was a New York City-based writer-director. Originally from Jerusalem, he studied filmmaking at the Sam Spiegel Film School while working as a counselor for at-risk Hasidic youth and a journalist in one of Israel's leading newspapers. His first novel was published in 2009 when he was 20. In 2014, he relocated to the United States and began the Film MFA Program at Columbia University.
