305 or Die

by Chris Blanco
TV Half-Hour

The continuing misadventures of a self hating Cuban-American 10 year old boy, Al Galvez, his recently arrived Cuban cousin, Yuni and all the other colorful characters Miami has to offer.

Chris Blanco is a New York City-based, self-hating Cuban American comedy writer, director and actor from Miami, FL. He is an MFA candidate (May 2022) at Columbia University, specializing in TV and screenwriting. He is a recipient of the 2021 Phil Johnston Comedy grant for his short film, Ethnic Slut, which he is currently in pre-production for. His work often focuses on the complications of ego and identity through the lens of outcasts in absurd situations. Never feeling completely Cuban or American, Chris uses his background to inform his outlook and sense of humor. He loves telling authentic Miami stories (almost as much as he hates the city itself).
