Minka Bleakley is an Australian-American filmmaker. She received an MFA with Honors in Screenwriting at Columbia University. She was the recipient of the Teaching Fellowship, the Indian Paintbrush Grant, and the CUFF 2021 Best Teleplay (Drama) Award during her tenure at Columbia. She was a semifinalist for the 2021 Humanitas Prize. Her work has been screened at Academy-Qualifying festivals around the world.
