About the Writer/Director
Hazel McKibbin is an award-winning British-American writer and director. Hazel is a BAFTA Newcomer and received the Princess Grace Award Honoraria in Film. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting and Directing from Columbia University. Trained as an editor, Hazel finds herself drawn towards realism, often through a feminist lens, and the idea that compelling stories can be created from ordinary relationships and interactions.
About the Producer
Lauren Goetzman is an Israeli-American filmmaker. Lauren earned her BA in Economics and Creative Writing from Wesleyan University before continuing her film education at Columbia University where she received an MFA in Creative Producing. She's produced multiple short narrative films, including Bruiser which premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and She Always Wins which had it's world premiere at TIFF in 2022.
