About the Writer/Director
Ke Liu is a Chinese filmmaker whose narrative works tend to feature underrepresented voices with a female perspective and honor the potential for naturalism inherent in working with non-actors. Ke also works as a production designer for films and commercials.
About the Writer
Vivienne Shaw is a Taiwanese-American filmmaker whose films, like her, tend to be Asian-American, queer, or funny. She is a Sloan Screenplay Award winner and SFFILM Sloan Science in Cinema Fellow for her thesis feature script “Killing Jar.” For her short film “29 Hour Famine”, Vivienne was also awarded the 2023 Reel Sisters Microbudget Fellowship and Chinh Chu Finishing Prize.
