About the Writer/Director
Alvaro is a Chilean writer and director. His documentary career before his MFA at Columbia University has been showcased in Chile, France, and Poland. His work contends with the complex relationships between an individual and society, and their impact on personal identity. Alvaro's fiction work explores the construction of one's own identity in the presence of another.
About the Producer
Donovan Tolledo is a writer and producer from Manila and Chicago. He received his MFA in creative producing in 2022 at Columbia. His work at Columbia won multiple grants and has screened at Telluride, Hamptons, Newfest, Palm Springs, and received CUFF Jury Selects and Honors previously. He is also an Outfest Screenwriting Lab Fellow and Film Independent Project Involve Producing Fellow.
About the Producer
As a mission driven storyteller, Valeria hopes to use the power of story to spark social change. Valeria is a Film Independent Producing Lab Fellow and has produced a slate of a dozen short films. Valeria is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Columbia University, where she received her MFA and the Michael Hausman/Buffalo Mike Filmhaus Foundation Award.
