About the Writer/Director
Ari Shapiro has worked as an editor with HBO Max and Discovery+, screened his short films at festivals internationally, and won awards including winning Best Director at the Independent Shorts Awards and semifinalist status in the prestigious Humanitas College Comedy Award. He recently graduated with his MFA in Film from Columbia University, where he concentrated in TV Writing.
About the Producer
Crystal Navellier is a Producer from Florida who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University, and she recently completed her Creative Producing MFA at Columbia University. She has worked as the director of photography for independent shorts, features, and TV pilots. She received a student Emmy Award for her collaborative news broadcast project in remembrance of 9/11.
