Gladys Brown
USA, 13m, Sony F55
Gladys Brown is a bashful, mid-50s executive assistant. But simmering beneath her gentle lamb demeanor is a pitbull on steroids that’s waited too long for what she deserves. So when a high paying promotion becomes available, Gladys is ready to cash in on her decades of drudgery and finally move into that corner office with a view. That is until a glamorous new hire—a smooth talking corporate shark named K.C.—steals the dream right out from under Gladys’ nose. They say “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” Well fury is nothing compared to the repressed rage of an assistant cheated out of her dream job. Quiet, little Gladys is going to get her corner office—no matter what.
